Beulah is a thoroughbred who has probably raced professionally, found abandoned in the desert on the south edge of Tucson, brought to us by the Arizona Department of Agriculture.

She is about 30 years old, doesn’t seem to bear any grudges, and is presently working with an Escalante Springs volunteer, teaching basic grooming and natural horsemanship.

She is currently adoptable only as a companion animal, though could likely carry a [very] light rider once she puts on a little more weight.
