Volunteering at ESERR
How to get involved
“There is a light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter. We sometimes lose sight of this force when there is suffering, too much pain. Then suddenly, the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call and answer in extraordinary ways.”
At Escalante Springs Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation (ESERR), we consider our volunteers our most important asset. Our dedicated volunteers come from many backgrounds and experiences, but all share our dream of rescuing and rehabilitating severely abused and injured horses. We are currently developing several therapeutic programs that will benefit all participants whether they walk on two legs or four. Theses programs require the healing combination of volunteers and horses to accomplish. From grooming horses, office work, facility maintenance, fundraising, participating in therapeutic programs or growing into a leadership role, we want volunteers to feel welcome and to work in their area of interest. If you want to expand your duties with ESERR you are encouraged to make your voice heard. There is a position here for everyone!
We invite you to become a part of our team, whether for a few hours a year, or many hours a week. You can bring the skill and energy to make good things happen for our horses as well as our clients! Contact us by clicking the link below.
